Schedule F

 

Find attached Schedule F for the coming 2026-27 NZ Formula Ford Championship season as of 19/08/2026, which also governs the 2026-27 NIFF Series.

These regulations effectively 'bind' the four Formula Ford championships running this summer, across the country (Nth Island FF, Nth Island Historic FF, South Island FF and the over-all NZ FF championship). The aim is to enable any car to race in any championship without the need to change the car.

Engines

​

For the 2028 New Zealand Formula Ford Championship, there will be a control engine builder who will build yours or a new engine if you wish to compete in the Championship. Your engine will be checked, crack tested, measured and rebuilt to your budget and supplied with MSNZ technical seals and an Engine Declaration Form EDF to show your engine complies to Schedule F regulations. This will eliminate grey areas that are explored by competitors and engine builders and stop white noise and also eliminate the need for a complete teardown at the season end if you place in the Championship. For the 2026-27 NIFF we strongly recommend supplying an EDF. For the 2027 Championship, an EDF is mandatory. The EDF is attached
